Great Yarmouth College

Great Yarmouth College first opened its doors to students over 60 years ago and much has changed since then. However, our dedication to students and the pursuit of educational excellence remains the same.

Great Yarmouth College is based on Suffolk Road and offers a wide range of full and part-time courses in subjects ranging from Art and Design to Welding. The College also offers a spectrum of apprenticeships.

All qualifications available at Great Yarmouth College are nationally recognised and have clear progression routes to higher level programmes. We have an extensive range of vocational programmes on offer and our established links with employers will ensure students receive the right skills for today’s busy workplace.

Access to Higher Education courses provide a preparation for Higher Education students who may have been out of education for some time and have few, if any, qualifications. They address the particular needs of adults who may have left school early without fulfilling their potential. Access courses are specifically designed to equip them for success in studying at university level.

Students who study Access to Higher Education courses at Great Yarmouth College go on to a wide range of universities all over the country.
