East Coast College
Following a six month pilot area review in 2014 it was proposed that the merger of Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft Colleges would result in improved education and training provision locally. Offering a full range of vocational and traditional academic courses, with integrated degree level opportunities while maintaining a more solid financial footing at a time when public funding is under increasing pressure.
The colleges have now formed a Federation as East Coast College, operating from two campuses in Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. The colleges will formally merge in the Summer of 2017 ready for the new academic year.
All qualifications available at East Coast College are nationally recognised and have clear progression routes to higher level programmes. We have an extensive range of vocational programmes on offer and our established links with employers will ensure students receive the right skills for today’s busy workplace.
