Forensic Science
The study of Forensic Science looks at the analysis and interpretation of science in relation to the law. In criminal cases this may include evidence from crime scenes, suspected drug abuse/poisons and firearms/explosives. In civil cases areas of interest may include authenticity of documentation, dispute resolution following fire investigations or investigation for compensation claims as a result of an accident
The course is suitable for students who are planning to continue with their studies into higher education in a wide range of degrees such as: psychology, criminology, law, criminal justice studies, crime scene investigation, forensic anthropology and forensic archeology
