Sports Science

The Access to HE Diploma in Sports Science is designed for students who want to enter careers in the sports sector.

You will learn a range of subjects that may include:
– Human Anatomy
– Excersise Physiology
– Sports Injury and Rehabilitation
– Training and Coaching

Students go on to study courses in Sports and Exercise Science, Sports Development and Coaching, and Physical Education.

Some of our colleges may offer a slightly different title in this subject such as:
– Fitness and Health Science
– Sports Science

Land-based Studies

An Access to HE Diploma in Land Based Studies will prepare you to study a wide range of courses at University.

You will cover a number of subjects in your course that may include:
– Biology and Biochemistry
– Business
– Animal Management and Welfare
– Materials Science
– Sustainability

Possible degrees include Animal Behaviour and Welfare, Bioveterinary Science, Agriculture and Applied Animal Science.
