Pass the Mark is a campaign to raise awareness of Access to Higher Education (HE) Diplomas. This is a life-changing qualification that gives adults the chance to return to education, progress to university, or begin a new career.
That’s where you come in.
Whether you’re a tutor, student, moderator, college staff member, family member, or simply someone passionate about education, you can make a difference.
Sharing a bookmark, in person or online, is more than a small gesture. It’s a way to share a powerful message. Every journey starts with a mark.
By Passing the Mark, (physically or digitally) you can start a conversation, inspire someone to take the next step, and help more adults discover Access to HE.
Many adults across the UK want to take the next steps towards university or a new career. But far too often, the route isn’t clear or they don’t know this pathway exists. Potential learners miss out, simply because they haven’t heard about the opportunities available to them.
Access to HE Diplomas offer a real chance: a straightforward way to achieve the skills and qualifications needed to reach university.
These nationally recognised, one-year courses are designed specifically for adults. They offer a practical, supportive route back into education, whatever someone’s background.
It’s a powerful opportunity. And too few people know it’s there. You can help change that.
CAVA (Cambridge Access Validating Agency) works in partnership with providers, tutors, moderators and universities to develop, quality assure, and promote Access to HE Diplomas. We are committed to lifelong learning, and to supporting adults in realising their aspirations through education.
